How to redeem a McDVOICE validation code
Complete the McDVOICE receipt survey, save the validation code shown at the end, and follow the offer terms printed on the original receipt. The receipt controls the item, expiry, qualifying purchase, and any location restriction.
What is the McDVOICE validation code?
The validation code is the code shown after a customer completes the receipt survey. McDonald’s FAQ says customers receive it at the end and can use it on a future visit.
It is not the same as the 26-digit Survey Code. The long Survey Code starts the questionnaire; the validation code comes later and is used for the printed offer.
How do you redeem the code?
- Keep the receipt that contains the survey invitation and offer.
- Complete the survey at the website printed on that receipt.
- Save the validation code shown after completion.
- Read the receipt offer again for expiry, purchase, and location terms.
- Bring the required receipt and validation code on the redemption visit.
- Show the offer to restaurant crew before payment if there is no app or kiosk field.
Can you use the validation code at any McDonald’s?
Do not assume that. I could not verify a current nationwide rule saying every McDVOICE receipt offer works at every U.S. McDonald’s. Follow the restaurant or participating-location wording printed with your offer.
How long is a McDVOICE validation code valid?
Use the expiry printed on the receipt or completion offer. I could not verify one current national 7-day, 14-day, or 30-day redemption period that applies to every McDVOICE offer.
The survey-entry deadline and the reward-redemption deadline can be different. Read both when they are printed.
Can you enter the validation code in the McDonald’s app or kiosk?
McDonald’s public survey FAQ confirms the validation code but does not publish a universal app-entry field for receipt-survey rewards. If your app or kiosk has no place for the offer, show the receipt and code to restaurant crew before payment.
Current Reddit discussions from 2026 describe counter or drive-thru handling for some receipt offers. Treat that as user experience and still follow your printed receipt terms.
What if you lose the validation code?
McDonald’s public FAQ does not promise a lookup or replacement process for every lost McDVOICE validation code. Save the code when it appears and keep the receipt until the offer has been used.
Why might a restaurant reject the offer?
- The offer has expired.
- A required purchase is missing.
- The receipt names a location or participation condition that is not met.
- The validation code or receipt cannot be read.
- The customer is trying to use a survey code as if it were a validation code.
If the printed terms appear satisfied, ask a manager to review them before payment.
Is redemption tied to a five-surveys-per-month rule?
I could not verify a current McDonald’s public rule that every customer is limited to exactly five McDVOICE surveys per month. Older survey guides repeat that figure, but this page does not use it as a nationwide fact.
SMG terms do say a unique survey code cannot be reused after it has already submitted a response.
